Do you know your new legal obligations under the Respect@Work Act?

t

Do you understand your Positive Duty under this law?

t

Have you started taking steps to eliminate sexual harassment in your workplace?

t

Are you confident you and your team can be compliant with your legal obligations?

If you answered no to any of these questions, then you, your leaders and your business are all at huge risk.

You need to take action. Now.

The Respect@Work Act came into effect on 12 December 2023.

Since then every business owner – regardless of the size of your business – has a new positive duty to create a safe workplace free from sexual harassment, bullying, discrimination and victimisation.

The Act also provides new avenues for employees to pursue claims against you, and if you can’t demonstrate you took reasonable steps to meet your obligations you face huge fines.

The duty, and legal risk, applies to the business owner, the managers in your business, and to the organisation overall.

Your business is at significant financial and legal risk. You need to mitigate this risk, now.
